Having left Snowy behind at home with Nestor, Calculus and the cat, Tintin and the Captain were sitting next to each other in the middle section beneath the balcony, safely incognito amongst the other members of the audience. Tintin receives a telephone call from Bianca Castafiore, telling him that she is in his country for a few days, and tells him about the man she is with, Endaddine Akass, a famous mystic. In town, Captain Haddock comes across Castafiore, and to avoid her, dashes into the nearby Fourcart Gallery, meeting avant-garde artist Ramó Nash and owner of the gallery, Henri Fourcart. A fascinating and adult Tintin book, well worth reading for Tintin fans. Tintin takes on art forgers, and Herge takes on fake art lovers. As other commenters have said it's very interesting to see the process behind the making of a Tintin book.

An odd-looking man with a large nose, long hair, beard, moustache, and large spectacles, Endaddine Akass holds a conference on "Health and Magnetism" for crowds of followers including Bianca Castafiore . I think Endaddine Akass could be W. R. Gibbons from The Blue Lotus. The guy who is director of American Chinese Steel Incorporated. He is one guy who would surely like to take revenge upon Tintin - and his nose fits too!
